Sustainability Efforts
We create one seasonless collection per year. Central to our sustainability efforts is our local and made-to-order production, which allows us to eliminate overproduction and keep our CO2 footprint low. We use mostly GOTS-certified textiles, as well as deadstock and recycled materials. By using the same fabrics for multiple collections, we reduce transportation and ensure that we use up our fabrics. The scraps and cut-offs from sample making and production are used to create new garments, and we strive to produce as little waste as possible.
Our garments are made with great care and attention to both quality and aesthetics. We seek to preserve traditional handcrafts and bridge the gap between makers and customers. In doing so, we hope to encourage people to value and care for their clothes once again.
We recommend washing garments only when necessary on a cold cycle, and avoiding the use of a dryer. We also suggest mending garments as needed, and if you are local, we would be happy to assist you. We hope that you will cherish and care for your garment for a long time, and pass it on to someone who will do the same when the time comes.
